About Course

This course is perfect for both lifelong Minecraft fans and kids just discovering its magic. It reveals a whole new side of the game through the lens of programming, mechanics, design, and real engineering thinking. Step by step, students master the Minecraft Education environment – learning to automate processes with Redstone, build self-sustaining farms, and design their own structures and mechanisms. Using the MakeCode block-based programming language, kids learn to: • Write simple algorithms • Command their agent • Shape the game world through real code The ultimate goal is to introduce every student to the foundations of logic, programming, and automation—all inside the world they already love.

What your child will learn in this course

Students will master programming logic and automation in Minecraft, progressing from simple algorithms to creating their own games and smart systems.

Minecraft Navigation

Students will confidently navigate the game environment and understand Redstone, automation, and programming via MakeCode.

Block-Based Programming Basics

Students will master program creation—from simple commands to automating gameplay—and write their very first code.

Algorithmic Thinking

Students will develop logic and learn to build sequences of actions using conditions, loops, and variables.

In-Game Engineering

Students will be able to create automated farms, traps, controllable mechanisms, and other technical structures.

Understanding Game Logic

Students will understand the inner workings of the game world: crafting recipes, mob interactions, biomes, and building principles.

Experimental Approach

Students will learn to think step-by-step, test their ideas, and consistently improve their own projects.

Meet your mentor
The session begins with getting to know your kid – what they enjoy, what inspires them, and how they like to learn and explore. Many children feel shy or unsure at first, so we focus on building trust and creating a calm, supportive atmosphere where they feel confident and at ease.

Curriculum: Minecraft Programming for Kids

In five modules inside Minecraft, your kid goes from player to programmer, mastering Python along the way. They'll command an agent, build smart farms, generate entire worlds, develop AI-powered mini-games, and stand proudly behind their own original project.

My son is very satisfied with his classes at Kodland. He has an excellent teacher, and the online lessons work smoothly without any technical issues. I always receive fast and helpful responses from the company whenever I reach out.

I've already learned how to do web design. I've created some really good websites including a pizzeria website.

The classes are actually fun. Last week we had a competition to see who could make the funniest bot. And when you mess up, nobody freaks out about it, they just help you fix it. That's huge for me. And I actually helped my friend with his computer science homework and he got an A! Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of coding wizard, which is pretty cool.

My son struggles with making friends — school's been tough for him. I was nervous about putting him in another group situation, even in an online format. But here something clicked. He was partnered with another kid on a project, and now they're basically inseparable. They FaceTime and text constantly... It's exactly what I'd hoped for!

Noah's problem was he liked everything — coding one day, design the next, then drawing , etc. We didn't want to drop money on a course only for him to lose interest two weeks in. The mentor in the first lesson suggested game development since it combines coding and visuals. Smart call! Noah's been glued to his first game project ever since. He finally found his thing.
