About the course

Minecraft CraftForge Beginner is a programming course where the game becomes a real development environment. Children program a robot using Lua (the language behind Roblox, Dota 2, and World of Warcraft), build logic circuits with Redstone, and create mechanisms that automate routines. An important part of the course is working with Sparks, the AI assistant that helps children write code, find bugs, and generate ideas.

Who this course is for

A child fascinated by video games

We'll teach your kid to build them from scratch — so screen time becomes time well spent.

A child who wants to give coding a shot

In the very first lesson, your kid will write their first lines of code. By the end of the course, they'll have their own game to show for it.

A child who is already interested in coding

We'll explore their interests further, whether that's writing clean code, debugging projects, or working the way real developers do.

What your child will learn in this course

In 10 modules your child will create 9 projects: from a first Lua robot to a custom mini-game with Redstone and a final project presentation

Lua Programming Code

Your child programs the Assistant robot in a real text-based language: variables, for loops, conditions, and arguments.

Redstone Engineering

They will build working mechanisms — from secret piston doors to sensor-triggered traps, learning "if-then" logic.

Working with an AI Assistant

They will learn how to assign tasks to Sparks AI, find bugs together, and use AI to generate architectural ideas.

Algorithms and Missions

They will write smart algorithms to navigate complex routes, where the robot makes decisions and avoids obstacles.

Creating Custom Games

They will invent their own rules and build a mini-game with tracks, traps, and timers to play with friends.

Project Presentation

They will learn to confidently present their ideas in every lesson and at graduation, explaining how their code works.

Meet your mentor
The session begins with getting to know your kid – what they enjoy, what inspires them, and how they like to learn and explore. Many children feel shy or unsure at first, so we focus on building trust and creating a calm, supportive atmosphere where they feel confident and at ease.

My son is very satisfied with his classes at Kodland. He has an excellent tutor, and the online lessons work smoothly without any technical issues. I always receive fast and helpful responses from the company whenever I reach out.

I've already learned how to do web design. I've created some really good websites including a pizzeria website.

The classes are actually fun. Last week we had a competition to see who could make the funniest bot. And when you mess up, nobody freaks out about it, they just help you fix it. That's huge for me. And I actually helped my friend with his computer science homework and he got an A! Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of coding wizard, which is pretty cool.

My son struggles with making friends — school's been tough for him. I was nervous about putting him in another group situation, even in an online format. But here something clicked. He was partnered with another kid on a project, and now they're basically inseparable. They FaceTime and text constantly... It's exactly what I'd hoped for!

Noah's problem was he liked everything — coding one day, design the next, then drawing , etc. We didn't want to drop money on a course only for him to lose interest two weeks in. The mentor in the first lesson suggested game development since it combines coding and visuals. Smart call! Noah's been glued to his first game project ever since. He finally found his thing.
